Just like the many images that have inspired me, this designer’s work captured the pure passion found in true design artistry.
So, it came as quite a shock to me, when I came across this WWD.com article that she has made the decision to move from her highly crafted one-of-a-kind pieces into now offering Ready-to-Wear(RTW).
Yiqing Yin’s haute couture line is no longer what it was. In lieu of painstakingly crafted one-of-a-kind pieces, the collection has morphed into a kind of elevated ready-to-wear.

Why is this so important to share…because I truly believe it is time to return to artistry in design and style, not go fast forward to fast fashion. As you stay tuned to my new blog focus you will come to see what I mean in the days and posts ahead.
Consumers should expect value in creative design. Designs should invoke passion and emotion in their inspired workmanship.
