There are particular designers who define themselves by color use before silhouette.

In my daily reviewing of designer collections across the seasons, Roksanda Ilincic, a Serbian designer based in London never disappoints!  Her garment silhouette lines offer accent to the color seam detail.  The garments work as a blank canvas…her seasonal inspirations take hold on the garment ‘canvas.’

Today just seems like the perfect day to draw attention to color!!  Enjoy the following looks from Roksanda!

The dress below is a departure from the expected color blocked/seamed designs usually found in Roksanda’s collections.  She keeps the silhouette clean, as always.  However, the surprise is the uniquely designed detailing she created along one side of the dress.  

It is a statement piece, which is why I like it.
